Sunshine Diner is

Open for Business

We see a navy, round-top door with a lion door knocker in an ivey covered building. There is a neon "OPEN" sign beside the dopor. Out front there is a wooden standing sign board with a poster advertising the breaksfast special for the Sunshine Diner.

The composite image this week is from an August PFCC challenge. Richard found the background image of the ivied building on Unsplash.com for a starter image. After I optimized the image in Adobe Camera Raw, I added the neon “open” sign and cleared some wall space for it with a layer mask. I positioned the cafe sign board out front. Both the sign and board are from PixelSquid.com. (Check them out; the Photoshop plug-in is superb and all the images are 3D and can be positioned to fit in almost any background image!)

The poster for the breakfast special is from an ad campaign I created this time last year for an imaginary restaurant. You can look at all nine examples on Behance.  Some of the items were for mad for my personal use. Kladi Print My Soul provided the menu items.

Take care. Stay well. Consider a class at the art center; next session starts the week of November 29th. You can learn new things, polish up old skills, and have a good time doing it. T0 make your life even easier, you can sign up and pay for your classes on line. If you sign up for one of my classes, I can even e-mail the overview-materials list directly to you. Most have links where you can find the materials.
